Meet Rodney Pierce

Rodney D. Pierce is a father, an award-winning educator, a historian, and a dedicated advocate who has been a champion for his community.  Now, he’s running to represent NC House District 27 in the legislature so that everyone in northeastern NC can have the voice in our state’s government that they deserve.

In Raleigh, Rodney will be a bold, committed leader who will usher in a new era of Democratic representation in the district.

Rodney will fight to fully fund our public schools via the Leandro Plan, defend democracy by protecting the right to vote, support workers’ rights and a living wage for working people, and advocate for affordable healthcare, housing, and equitable economic development.
